Hi Linda – just had to share my experience this afternoon in the store. Place is full of customers and I’m talking to a couple at the cash register about our upcoming event (Walk of the Arts). CD Review: Sacramento chanteuse Bracamonte dresses her blues in contemporary country on her debut album, with top-shelf accompaniment from guitarist/songwriter, Ema Roberts, who cowrote the ten original songs.  Linda's voice can be spirited, as in the energetic opener, "Saved My Life" and rocker "Do You Want to Funk", or velvety and warm on the ballad, "Coming Home" and the bluesy torch-song title track.  While country-rock songs like, "I'm On It" and "You Don't Know What It's Like (on the back of my bike)”, might conjure up a strong Nashville influence, Linda is known to put a lot of blues feeling into her frequent live performances in the region.  Roberts’ fluid and precision guitar work, shows throughout the album and should bring him the attention of serious guitar aficionados.  If her first effort is any indication, Bracamonte can look forward to joining the ranks of essential Sacramento music artists who establish a global presence.  —Steve C., KVMR
